After placing the Delmarva’s Online Calendar of Events on a temporary hiatus for the Summer of 2020, Steve Atkinson has brought the Calendar back.
Atkinson began the events calendar in 2006 at ShoreToBeFun.com. A few years ago he decided to brand himself and his photography as ShoreToBeFun with the calendar hosted here on the ChesaDel Crier and on DelmarvaUSA, an developing Website on the History and heritage of the Delmarva Peninsula.
Due to the ever-changing nature of 2020 when events would be announced and then suddenly cancelled or last minute cancellation of events, he decided to put the calendar in limbo. But with a promise that it will return. Which it did earlier this week.
He is always on the look out for events to add to the calendar. To have an event added to the calendar, he asks for you to send an email to Events@ShoreToBeFun.com includes; Title of the event, Date and Time, Location, a short description and contact information (a web link is preferred for contact information).
Beginning in late August, he began a Web series of photo-essays of “Points of Interest on Delmarva”. These can be found on his Website SGAtkinson.com/DelmarvaUSA.
