Bead Weaving Classes are the Rehoboth Art League

REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – Bead weaving is a fun and addictive hobby where you literally stitch beads together using a beading needle and thread to make stunning jewelry. You get to make wearable art that allows you to express your unique personal style and you do not need bulky or expensive equipment to get started. Come to the Rehoboth Art League and make beautiful bracelets.

The Art League is offering two bead weaving classes. “Basic Beadwork: Bead Weaving with the Peyote Stitch” is scheduled for Wednesday, March 2 from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. In this class, the peyote stitch is the basic bead weaving stitch students will use to create a bracelet. It is a relaxing, easy to learn stitch. On Wednesday, March 9 from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. “Basic Beadwork: Bead Weaving with the Herringbone Stitch” will be offered. In this class, the herringbone stitch is the basic bead weaving stitch that will be used to create a bracelet. This is another easy to learn stitch that uses two sizes of seed beads.

You can take one or both classes. Each class is $50 per person. The instructor will provide needles, bead weaving thread, seed beads, and a clasp for one bracelet. In addition to the registration fee, a $25.00 materials fee will be paid to the instructor for each class.
