Yoga returns to Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum

ST MICHAELS, MD – The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and Eastern Shore Yoga are offering multiple sessions of outdoor yoga this spring and summer.

On Tuesdays in May and June from 5:30–6:30pm, Jenn Swaine, owner and certified yoga instructor at Eastern Shore Yoga, will lead participants through a mixed-level flow evening yoga class on CBMM’s Navy Point. Participants are required to bring their own mats, props, and water. In the case of inclement weather, class will be held the Small Boat Shed or pushed to the following day.

The cost to participate in an Evening Yoga Class is $20 for a single session in either month, $90 for the full series in May, or $70 for the full series in June, with a 20% discount offered to CBMM members. Registration is required to either bit.ly/MayEveningYoga or bit.ly/JuneEveningYoga.

For those yogis who consider themselves morning people, certified instructors from Eastern Shore Yoga will be hosting the first-ever Saturday morning series at CBMM on select Saturdays this summer. Scheduled for Saturdays, June 11 & 25, July 9 & 23, and Aug. 6 & 20, from 9–10:15am, these mixed-level flow classes will also be held on CBMM’s Navy Point, next to the Bell Tower, or on the deck of the Oystering building. The rain location for each is CBMM’s Small Boat Shed.

The cost to participate in a Morning Yoga Class is $20 for a single session or $110 for the full series, with a 20% discount offered to CBMM members. Participants should plan to bring their own mats, props, and water, and register in advance at bit.ly/MorningYogaCBMM.
