Bob’s journey toward this pivotal role has been marked by a diverse professional background and a deep-rooted connection to the local community. Hailing from the Chicago area, Bob embarked on his career as a journalist, honing his skills at prominent newspapers in West Virginia and Maryland, including The Journal and The Star Democrat.
His commitment to public service became evident during his tenure as Legislative Director for Delegate Johnny Mautz, where Bob tirelessly worked with Delegate Mautz to support constituents during challenging times, particularly through the tumultuous period of the COVID-19 pandemic. His efforts in assisting individuals and businesses navigating hurdles, such as unemployment insurance and closures, exemplify his dedication to serving the community.
With a robust background in workforce development, code compliance, grant administration, and a passion for local history and community engagement, Bob is poised to bring a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to his new role. His dedication to the Eastern Shore and his love for Caroline County are reflected in his eagerness to serve.

In his personal life, Bob cherishes moments with his family and enjoys a range of outdoor activities, from native gardening to kayaking and exploring historic sites. His transition from rooting for the Bears while living near Chicago to becoming a self-proclaimed “die hard” Ravens fan embodies his adaptability and openness to embracing new experiences.
