It is officially the start of the season, as the 33rd annual Springest returns May 2-5, 2024. Come to Maryland’s Coast for live music, art, crafts, food and much more!
Springfest comes to life with a diverse variety of live outdoor musical entertainment all day long for four days. Visitors should bring their appetite as the event includes a delicious assortment of famous Eastern Shore food and wide assortment of beer and wine. Springfest, one of the top Arts and Crafts Show in the United States, features over 200 vendors showcasing their products and creations.
Springfest is located in the Inlet Lot at the south end of Ocean City’s famous Boardwalk. Springfest is fun for people of all ages and admission to the four-day event is free, including daytime entertainment. Headliners for the evening shows require the purchase of tickets, which can be done online at OCocean.com or through Etix. Thursday night, come see The Olivia Show “A Stage Show Tribute to Olivia Newton-John”. American Idol’s own country music star Lauren Alaina takes the stage on Friday night, and everclear brings their multi-hit alternative sounds to Springfest on Saturday night.
Since parking in the downtown area is limited, the Town of Ocean City will offer Springfest transportation. The Coastal Highway Beach Bus will be operating for only $4 all day boarding. Take advantage of the Town’s Park & Ride location on Route 50 in West Ocean City. Park your car for free and ride the shuttle to Springfest for $4 all day boarding. Special Event express shuttle service is also available at the Convention Center on 40th St., where you can park for free in the south lot and ride the express shuttle directly to Springfest for $4 all day boarding. The Boardwalk tram also will be in service during the event with fare of $5 per boarding one way. For more information about transportation, please call 410-723-1606.
