The Rehoboth Art League’s four-week “Beginner Stained Glass” class is the best way to learn how to work with glass and all the tools used to create art glass. The class is scheduled for Monday nights, March 19 through April 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Local artist Katt Pearl Marshall will teach students how to score, break, grind and foil glass while they make a 5 to 12 piece sun catcher or small window. Students will learn how to solder and finish their pieces for hanging during the last two classes. In addition to the registration fee of $170 per person, there is a $30 supply fee to be paid to the instructor.
To register for this workshop, go to www.rehobothartleague.org or call the Art League at 302-227-8408 ext. 112. All workshops are held at the Rehoboth Art League, located at 12 Dodds Lane in Henlopen Acres, Rehoboth Beach.
The Art League is a non-profit organization dedicated to making art accessible to all. This program is made possible, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on www.DelawareScene.com.
