The St. Michaels Art League will showcase original artwork created exclusively by League members during the month of May at the St. Michaels Library. The show will be judged by Laura Era, co-owner of the well-known Troika Gallery of Easton, Maryland. Laura is best known for her commissioned portraits and her work hangs in collections throughout the U.S. and Europe. She also teaches classes in her Easton studio.
The exhibit of original art, open to all mediums, will be on display in the gallery located in the back of the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library from Tuesday, May 1 until Thursday, May, 31, 2018. Artwork may be purchased directly through the artist.
The library is located at 106 Freemont Street, St. Michaels and the exhibit is free to the public. Hours the exhibit can be viewed are Monday and Thursday, 9 am – 8 pm; Tuesday and Wednesday, 9am – 6pm; and Friday and Saturday 9am – noon.
