* Kent County – Kent Island High School Football game reschedule to a day earlier, now on Thursday September 13th. The Go Purple event is now scheduled for Friday September 28th when Kent hosts Queen Anne’s
* Sultana Gala Rescheduled for October 6, 2018

* William & Mary’s Kingsmill Cup regatta, which the Washington College sailing team had been scheduled to attend, has been canceled due to Hurricane Florence’s anticipated impact on the area. The Washington College sailing team is still slated to compete at the Central Early Fall (hosted by Monmouth) in New Jersey and the MAISA Laser Eliminator (hosted by Navy) in Annapolis this weekend.
* Cyberbullying Workshop originally scheduled for Thursday, September 13 has been cancelled due to the possibility of inclement weather. One session will be offered on Thursday, September 20, 6:30-7:30pm, in the Denton Elementary School Media
Center.
* The 2nd Annual Multicultural Festival in Greensboro, scheduled for Saturday, September 15, has been canceled due to the possibility of inclement weather. No rescheduling information is available at this time
* Due to the projected severe weather caused by Hurricane Florence, all of the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance weekend activities for September 14-17 have been cancelled. This includes the Chincoteague Farmers and Artisans Market, the CCA Coffeehouse and the Resin Framed Art Class.
