Dagsboro, DE. – The Olde Tymers Softball League of Delmarva (OTS) began 22 years ago. During the 2018 season there were 184 players ages 60 and over who played on 13 teams. The season begins in May and ends in early September. Teams play two days a week at their fields in Dagsboro.

Along with the regular summer season some teams also compete in the Delaware Senior Olympics.

Last September the team of 65 year/old players won the gold medal thanks to John Walker, pitcher and the offense of Dave Sroka and Buddy Griffith. The 70 year/old team won the bronze.

On Friday morning, March 29 at 11:30 the league will hold a “fun-raising” event at Millsboro
Bowling Lanes located at 213 Mitchell St, Millsboro, DE 19966. For a $20 entry, the event is a great opportunity to bowl, meet new friends and learn more about and possibly join a
championship league.
