STEVENSVILLE, MD – Pickleball is a relatively new sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net.
Queen Anne’s County Parks & Recreation lined a 3rd tennis court at Mowbray Park to enable more of our local pickleball competitors to participate.
The QAC Crabby Pickleballers support the sport of pickleball and according to their website (https://qaccrabbypickleballers.club/) their members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and skill levels to promote social and competitive play. “All are welcome. Our members from novice to tournament level players enjoy playing indoors and outdoors.”
