REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – March 10, 2020 – Mosaics have been used to decorate floors, walls, ceilings, and precious objects since before written records began. Mosaics were first constructed out of colored pebbles, today mosaic artists work with cut ceramic and glass tiles. If you are interested in learning this art form, come take “Mosaic Fun with a Nautical Theme” at the Rehoboth Art League on Wednesdays, March 25 through April 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This beginner mosaic class uses a variety of nautical substrates for students to create a beautiful work of art. The class will learn to cut tile, glue, and grout to make a fish, mermaid, seashell or whale, etc. A great gift to give to your favorite person. The cost of this five-week class is $185 per person. All supplies are included in the registration fee.
