Chincoteague Cultural Alliance – Coronavirus Update

Virginia's Eastern Shore

To all our friends—

I want to let you all know that the CCA Board of Directors has voted to cancel our upcoming events scheduled between March 14 and April 4, 2020 because of the current threat of the coronavirus.

While some people might think that this is unnecessary right now, we believe it is safer to exercise an overabundance of caution in helping to keep you, and all of our community, healthy.

Our building is now closed to the public and these events are cancelled: Gallery hours on Saturdays, the March 21 Coffeehouse, Storytelling on March 27, Her Story Our Strength on April 4, and the Kid Art Class on April 4. We will let you know if additional schedule changes are made for events after April 4, 2020.

If you are an artist who exhibits in the Kitchen Gallery, please check your email for the scheduled times to pick up and drop off your artwork. If you are a vendor planning to participate in the Second Saturday Artful Flea on April 11, our Markets Manager will be in touch by email if cancellation becomes necessary.

We appreciate your continuing support of the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance and look forward to seeing all of you soon.

Remember, two full choruses of “Happy Birthday” while you are washing your hands.
