Survivors, their families, and friends, are encouraged to form teams and walk to spread awareness of breast cancer, in honor of someone who has battled the disease, or just for fun. Online registrations are still open, and can be found at this link, https://secure.frontstream.com/wsw-23rd-annual-walk-for-awareness. Day-of registrations will begin on Saturday, October 12th, at 9:00 a.m. in the Food Court at The Centre at Salisbury. The cost to register for the Walk is $30 per person, and $5 per furry, four-legged friend. All dogs registered will receive a bandana and AYCDW (All You Can Drink Water).
Registration and check-in will be open until 10:00 a.m., with announcements, face painting, vendor shopping, Survivor and Team pictures happening until 10:30 a.m. At that time, the Walk for Awareness will begin, and attendees will make 1.5 laps around the inside of the mall. At 11:30 a.m., the Awards Ceremony will start, where WSW will hand out trophies to the top fundraising team, top fundraising individual, and largest team.
