University of Maryland Shore Regional Health managers recently hosted Queen Anne’s County first responders at UM Shore Medical Pavilion at Queenstown. The first responders were invited to learn more about Magnetic Resonance (MR) safety and get a first-hand look at the facility. Specifically, they learned how to “quench” (turn off) the magnetic field in the event of an emergency.”
