NEWARK’S ANNUAL EGG HUNT | MARCH 24
Newark’s Annual Egg Hunt will be held at White Clay Creek State Park’s Carpenter Recreation Area on Saturday, March 24, 2018 beginning at 10 a.m. for ages walking – 4 and 10:30 a.m. for ages 5 – 9. All children should bring a basket or bag to collect their goodies. State park fees will be in effect. The rain date will be Sunday, March 25 beginning at 2 p.m. for walking – 4 year olds and 2:30 p.m. for ages 5 – 9.

FIVE & WINE AND WINE & DINE | MARCH 24
Foodies and fitness lovers will come together on Main Street on Saturday, March 24, 2018 to run, wine and dine. The 2nd Annual Five & Wine 5-Mile Run/Walk kicks off the festivities at 9 a.m. at the corner of Main and Academy Streets. The run is followed by post-race parties at Stone Balloon Ale House and Klondike Kate’s. The race is followed by Newark’s 14th Annual Wine & Dine from 12-5 p.m. Wine & Dine showcases dozens of wines paired with creative food offerings from more than a dozen of downtown Newark’s restaurants. The pay-as-you-go event takes place inside the restaurants. All City of Newark municipal parking meters and lots will be free during the events.
