REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – Want to unleash your creative side? Join our “Making a Fiber Necklace with the Coiling Technique” class at the Rehoboth Art League and learn the process of coiling. Students will learn how to wrap an inner core of clothesline with silk, wools and cottons, and then finish the ends with jewelry findings. Beads will be added to complete the design. This class will take place on Tuesdays, February 5 and 12, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Local artist Rita Healey will teach design, color hints, and finishing techniques for professional results. In addition to the registration fee of $60 per person, there is a $10 supply fee to be paid to the instructor to cover the cost of supplies.
