REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – The Rehoboth Art League is pleased to announce that Nicholas Serratore has joined the nonprofit arts organization as Exhibitions Director. Serratore will lead the art league’s exhibitions and art display functions for all of the galleries on its historic campus and other locations where RAL’s collections and members’ work are on display. “We are looking forward to Nick’s return to the Rehoboth Art League,” says Board Chair Steve Sumption. “He brings with him a lot of knowledge, experience, and energy, and we are excited to see the new and exciting directions in which he will lead the galleries.”

Serratore, who was an Art Instructor and Gallery Manager for RAL between 2008 – 2012, is familiar with all the roles of the exhibitions director and, being an artist himself, understands the creative needs of the hundreds of member artists who exhibit their work at the art league. For almost a decade, Nick owned and operated Saxon Swan Gallery of Fine Arts & Crafts in Lewes, and has worked from the Studios on Walnut in Milton for several years. His popular pastel work has garnered multiple awards, and he has received the Emerging Artist Award from the Delaware Division of the Arts. Serratore has been a longtime fixture at the Rehoboth Art League’s Annual Outdoor Show, and, in addition to teaching, exhibits his work in solo and group shows around the region.
