Every once in a while you’ll go somewhere and see a sight that really doesn’t make sense. This was the case with these steps in Betterton that really seem to go nowhere. Well they do actually lead into the town’s community park, but the sidewalk just end.
I just found out that on the location where the park sits today at one time was the Betterton School. The school closed in late 60’s. For those who attended that school there these are Steps to Memories of their childhood.
