Small Works names some WINNERS!
This Saturday March 14th from 7 pm to 9 pm the Queen Anne’s County Centre for the Arts will be hosting the closing of our 9th annual Small Works show.
Tickets drawn Saturday night, still plenty of time to get yours in!
(And, yes, we have a GIANT bottle of hand sanitizer. Don’t worry.)
Artists from many different disciplines have donated works to this show, and every one of them is going to be won by someone. This year we have over 90 pieces from 60 different artists. Our pieces this year include established artists, newcomers, and even some truly incredible work from local students.
We’ll be selling more raffle tickets to win pieces, and we’ll start drawing winners starting around 8 pm.
If you’re here and you win something, take it home and love it forever!
If you’re here and you don’t win, enjoy free food, drink, and great company!
If you’re not here and you win, we’ll contact you and let you know!
If you’re not here and you don’t win, thank you for supporting all that we do here at the Arts Council!
We’ll have food, drinks, live music by Van Williamson, the opportunity to win original art works, and you’ll get to meet some of the artists themselves!
And, of course, the show is free and family friendly.
How do you win these works? Easy!
Raffle tickets are available for $5 or 3 for $10.
Write your information on the ticket and drop it in the box belonging to the work you’d like to win. Tickets will be sold at the opening, closing, and every day that we’re open between now and then. Cash, checks, and credit cards will all be accepted.
All proceeds benefit the Queen Anne’s County Centre for the Arts and the programs that we put on ALL year (concerts, gallery shows, school programs, school grants, community arts grants, and much much more).
If you saw the food at the opening you KNOW you’ll want to join us for the closing!
